Job Summary


We are seeking a Taxation Manager for a leading Hotel Group.

Job Profile:

  • Manage GST compliance for multiple business locations, ensuring accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)across states.
  • Oversee GST registration, reporting, and audits for each location to ensure full adherence to applicable tax laws.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register and input tax credit (ITC) for each location to ensure consistency and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and resolve mismatches between the GST returns and the actual records maintained in the company’s accounts.
  • Oversee the computation and timely remittance of TDS across all business locations, ensuring accurate deductions and reporting.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns (e.g., 24Q, 26Q) and ensure proper TDS reconciliation in the general ledger.
  • Provide guidance on TDS-related issues and support in TDS audits and assessments.
  • Perform monthly GL reconciliation, focusing on tax-related accounts such as GST, TDS, and other statutory liabilities.
  • Ensure that all tax-related transactions are accurately recorded in the GL, with appropriate documentation and references.
  • Assist in tax audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to GST and TDS transactions.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide support during internal and external audits to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in tax laws, including changes in GST and TDS regulations, and inform management and teams accordingly.
  • Train finance and operations staff on best practices for tax compliance and reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CMA Inter/Final
  • 3-4 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong focus on GST, TDS, and financial reconciliation.
