Procurement Manager (Job Code: NSC000227)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Procurement Manager for a D2C Wellness Startup.

Job Profile:

Works closely with the Founder for business strategy and operations.
Sourcing & Procurement of raw material and packaging material from both India & abroad.
Coordinate the import and export of products with Customs House Agents (CHAs).
Developing new vendors or managing existing ones.
Managing inventory.
Overseeing production and ensuring quality assurance of products.
Negotiating on costing, quality, and lead times.
Manage existing packaging vendors and identify new ones.
Establishing payment terms with vendors and ensuring timely payments.
Coordinating with the finance team for vendor payments.
Maintaining stock levels in office/stores/warehouses based on average orders.
Coordinating with aggregators for new product listings on their websites and building relationships to boost sales.
Managing the supply chain from raw materials to finished products.
Minimizing logistic and transportation costs.
Designing and prototyping new products.
Streamlining day-to-day processes.

Procurement Manager Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement
Experience with Unicommerce
Any Graduate/ Postgraduate
Must be an entrepreneur at heart, who is excited about building a D2C wellness brand
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Tech savvy with the ability to create and present MIS reports and presentations.
