Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager Specifications and Distribution Sales for a Global Building Material Manufacturer.

Job Profile:

Drive the effectiveness of product specifications and closed sales, directly impacting revenue.
Achieve significant market penetration and increase demand for company products, contributing to overall sales growth.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with Architects, Contractors, Design and end customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
Increase the company’s market presence and competitive edge through successful specification strategies and execution.
Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge, enabling effective communication and persuasive presentations to specifiers.
Successfully negotiate and close sales opportunities, accurately track project progress, and directly contribute to revenue targets.
Ensure adequate distribution network, collaborate with channel partners on projects, and expand the company’s presence in growing Tier II/III town markets.
Effectively convert product specifications into actual
Contribute to the growth of the company’s market share by successfully securing product specifications and increasing brand visibility in the target market.
Track and report on revenue generated from specified projects, demonstrating the financial impact of specification activities on the company’s bottom line.
Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of potential projects by actively identifying and pursuing new specification opportunities. This includes market research, lead generation, and project tracking.

Requirements:

10+ years of proven experience converting product specifications into closed sales within the industry,
with a strong history of collaboration with architects, designers, or engineers, contractors.
Specification & Sales experience in Building products / office automation / direct selling,
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Required to be highly motivated team player to work very closely with the team.
Experience using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track progress.
Bachelor’s Degree & MBA required, ideally in Building Material Industry.
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
