Job Summary

We are seeking a Group Account Director for an award winning PR Agency.

Job Profile:

Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded
Provide proactive strategic counsel to clients on Public Relations initiatives, crisis management, and overall communications strategy
Develop and implement high impact, comprehensive Public Relations campaigns for clients
Accountable for client retention, proactively deals with customer escalations, and is expected to resolve the same independently
Play a SPOC role on a minimum of 3 critical client in their portfolio and facilitate integration across the portfolio
Handles a portfolio of 3 Crore and ensures client retention of 90%
Business Development
Formulate and execute the portfolio business plan with a focus on not just retaining business but also growing the business following the parameters set in the business plan and ensuring healthy vitals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive agency growth
Develop proposals and pitch presentations for potential clients
Talent Management
Manages manpower cost as per business plan for their portfolio
Lead and mentor account teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Oversee the work of the team, providing guidance and support as needed
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes
Identify training and development needs within the team and coordinate appropriate training programs
Operations
Ensure Systems and Processes are implemented across their portfolio and put in place governance mechanisms to review account performance with ADs and SAMs
Oversees and is highly involved in client delivery. Provides clear written and verbal instructions to group members and provides clarity on expectations
Work closely with Finance and Admin teams to ensure timely billing, payments, and administrative functions
Ensures all operational tools like Skribe, and Talkwalker are used across the team
Collaboration and Communication
Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on account performance and strategy

Requirements:

18-20 years of experience in Public Relations, communication, and client servicing. Good client management and negotiation abilities to be able to convince and manage clients
Experience in our solutions and programs. Should have worked on large plans and strategy and
managed a team
Should have entrepreneurial and professional capabilities with impeccable written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
In addition, s/he will have a record of successfully stewarding client budgets through planning, resource management, forecasting, and vendor negotiations; and s/he also can help solicit and win new business
Proven managerial skills and ability to attract, motivate, retain, empower, and coach staff, and will possess the vision, insight, and confidence necessary to manage a team.
Experience with new business development and managing client portfolios of a minimum of 1 Crore and more
Craft and develop newsworthy pitches, recommend appropriate media strategies, and build relationships with journalists and social media influencers to achieve clients- business goals
Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape and how to incorporate these channels into client programs
Ability to work under high-pressure situations
Understanding of stakeholders and strong existing relationships.
Should have digital capabilities of online reputation management applicable to Public Relations
