Backend Developer (Job Code: NSC000236)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Backend Developer for a funded Eldercare Wellness Platform.

Job Profile:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Django and Express.js frameworks.
Work with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs within the app and website.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
Optimize backend performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-centric solutions.

Backend Developer Requirements:
2–4 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Python and Typescript.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
Familiarity with MERN stack integration (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Web Sockets and Server Side Events
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with both microservices and monolith architecture.
