Job Summary

We are seeking a Design and Video Editor for a VC Funded D2C Brand.
Job Profile:
Create visually engaging static posts, carousels, stories, and campaign creatives that reflect the brands clean, thoughtful brand aesthetic.
Turn simple ideas or briefs into powerful visual communication pieces that connect instantly.
Ensure visual consistency across formats and platforms (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Conceptualize and edit short-form videos and reels for social — from product stories to parenting moments.
Craft high-quality edits with clear hooks, smart transitions, and emotionally resonant storytelling.
Repurpose existing brand and founder content into new, engaging formats.
Bring your own insights on design, trends, and content ideas that parents will relate to.
Actively track what’s working on social and adapt brand content accordingly.
Work independently on concepts, while staying aligned with the brand tone and values.
Have a natural curiosity and knack for exploring new opportunities with AI — from creative tools to content innovation.
Create content designed to attract and engage new audiences — visually rich, shareable, and relatable.
Build familiarity for the brand through content that feels warm, trustworthy, and premium.
Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Brand team to plan and execute content calendars.
Take feedback positively, refine quickly, and maintain output consistency.
Requirements:
2 – 3 years of experience in design and video creation for digital-first consumer brands. Open to Agency experience with exposure to FMCG or consumer brand client
Should have handled Design, Video as well as Content.
Strong command over Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro / After Effects) or equivalent tools.
Excellent sense of composition, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and performance metrics.
Good-to-Haves
Prior experience with D2C or FMCG brands.
Comfort with mobile-first video editing tools (CapCut, VN, etc.).
Empathy for parenting moments and a natural sense for warm, human-centered content.
