Job Summary

We are seeking a VP Finance for a global Publishing House.

Job Profile:

Financial Leadership: Lead and manage finance teams across multiple companies in the group, ensuring consistency and governance in reporting, compliance, and operations.
Data & Analytics: Leverage advanced Excel, data crunching, and AI-driven insights to support business decision-making.
Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accounting, finalisation of books, preparation of MIS, and statutory compliance.
Audits & Compliance: Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Reconciliation & Controls: Supervise bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and collection processes.
Transfer Pricing & Taxation: Ensure compliance with transfer pricing norms, direct and indirect tax laws.
Working Capital Management: Monitor receivables, collections, and cash flow for smooth business operations.
Business Partnering: Provide financial insights and strategic support to the promoters for growth and profitability.

Requirements:

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (1st attempt preferred).
Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Industry: FMCG or industries with strong distribution and channel partner frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on expertise in Excel, AI tools, and data crunching.
Proven team leadership and ability to manage multiple finance units.
Deep understanding of accounting, audits, reconciliations, and compliance.
