Job Summary

We are seeking a Plant Operations Manager for a Sustainable Packaging Startup.

Job Profile:

Lead and manage daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and dispatch
Ensure effective resource planning and machine utilization to meet production targets
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing practices
Monitor compliance with all safety, statutory, and company policies
Oversee plant-level budgeting, cost control, and overall operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as procurement, R&D, QA/QC, and supply chain
Provide regular operational performance updates to senior leadership
Build, guide, and manage high-performing teams across functions
Ensure smooth operations across both plant locations

Requirements:

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in plant or manufacturing operations
Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage complex plant operations
Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, inventory, and safety standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience overseeing multi-location or large-scale operations is preferred
