Job Summary

We are seeking a National Sales Head for a leading Oil and Gas Firm.
Job Profile:
To define the Sales & Marketing strategy for Bitumen Division and seek approval from CEO.
To implement the approved S&M Strategy to meet the desired / budgeted volume and margins.
To implement an efficient Field & HO support structure in S&M department in order to achieve the targets and to ensure effective monitoring and controls.
To develop a strong institutional customer base & distribution network and to monitor and support it with the help of an efficient key account management system.
To liaison effectively with Government Departments, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways-GOI, NHAI, PWD etc. and consultants for various roads and runway projects to promote awareness and application of superior quality Bituminous Products.
To improve the brand awareness through various communications, technical seminars, industry interactions, trainings etc.
To ensure that effective systems are developed and practiced to have desired information flow and controls with regard to financial exposure to customers.
To ensure the collection of debtors within stipulated time frame, ensuring appropriate actions in case of defaults.
To monitor the performance of S&M team and to identify and recommend necessary trainings for overall development of team members.
To inculcate ‘Safety’ culture among sales team and to imbibe corner stone behaviours of Company Attitude in team members.
To carry out activities under this role adhering to Code of Conduct laid down by the Group.
To remain abreast of emerging infrastructure developments in India and to enable the company to device a proactive strategy with regard to future needs of Indian bitumen industry.
Plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet growth and profitability targets of the Company.
National Sales Head Requirements:
Minimum 20+ years of stellar experience in B2B/Institutional sales, with at least 10 yrs at progressively senior management levels.
Must be a PhD. /MBA degree. BE/B.Tech is highly preferred but not a constraint for an exceptional profile.
Open to candidates from Road Construction Materials, Bitumen, Construction Chemicals, or Industrial/Infrastructure Paint ecosystems
Good communication, team work, techno-commercial and negotiation skills
