We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager for an EdTech Platform. The BDM will be responsible for defining and executing the right strategy for the platform’s business development activities while ensuring its fit with the company’s broader vision and ambition.
Job Profile:
End to End Responsibility and accountability for revenue and sales numbers with agreed profit margins along with chalking out a growth strategy and business plan for the company as per its vision and goals.
Building out a robust sales and business development strategy for the company.
Building a cohesive risk management strategy across the entire customer lifecycle – from lead generation to sales.
Nurturing the right partnerships and building the eco-system for the platform that enables greater visibility in the market and high-velocity lead flow.
Building and nurturing deep relationships with corporates and enterprises and their respective L&D teams in line with the company’s growth strategy. Establishing highest level of efficiency and productivity from the sales team.
Keep the business relevant and ahead of the market by constantly interpreting customer, market, and technology trends. Target setting, performance monitoring, coaching and guiding the sales team.
Requirement:
At least 8-10 years in a business development role and has solid credentials in corporate sales.
Strong focus on budgets, targets, and its achievements.
Leadership skills with a wide perspective right from strategy to operations
Result orientation and proven execution capability.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to guide and coach across levels in the line team.
Ability to take the team along and provide them encouragement, direction, and course correction inputs at all times
