We are looking for a Sr Account Executive for the Consumer Tech / EdTech vertical for an award-winning PR Agency offering services to some major brands like Amazon, Samsung, MEA (India), Sony, etc. to name a few.

The Sr Account Executive is the client spoc for taking briefs, setting and working within timelines and ensuring seamless execution
A Senior Account Executive is an important part of the execution layer of the organization structure. Process excellence, eye for detail and seamless delivery meeting deadlines are key to this role. Ownership of systems and processes for the respective clients is the onus of an SAE. They are also required to guide and train new joinees, interns, on the systems and processes followed at the agency. Reports to levels of Account Manager and above.

Job Profile and Skills required

Systems and Processes
Owner of systems and processes for the clients he/she is servicing. Supports managers in orienting new team members on systems and processes
Ability to multitask and work on multiple clients in an organized and seamless manner
Media
Honed skills in media engagement tools. Responsible for writing press releases, news stories, by- line, authored articles, blogs, press briefing, media round table, case studies and product pieces, etc.
Must have updated knowledge of all Media Outlets- columns, special editions, key markets, favored beats and the key media personnel/publications across Tier I and Tier II cities and have media relationships
Will be required to pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national and regional journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering their clients’ stories
Seamless communication and responsiveness with media and clients
Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople – in person or over the phone – and facilitate these meetings where appropriate. Maintain Interview Documents -Briefing books, Staffing interaction (Recording to be maintained + taking notes), Post Interview and Post Event Document
Client Interaction
Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients through coverage mails (interactions, press release consolidated coverage)
Attend client events and industry conferences
Handle clients’ social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page
Brainstorm fresh ideas for Public Relations campaigns
Understanding of client related financial activities – raising Purchase Orders

Skills and Experience
Bachelors or Masters Degree preferably in communication/ journalism/ economics/ humanities/ management
2 to 4 years of experience in public relations/ marketing/ any field where communication is key to the role. Must have experience working with Consumer Tech / EdTech clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy
Organized, eye for detail, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate assertively with stakeholders. Ability to organise information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention
Ability to multitask, work well under tight timelines and deliver seamlessly
Familiarity with social media platforms
