Job Profile:
Manage Turnover, Operations & SCM of PAN India Plants
Managing transport fleet of non-dedicated & other spot hired bulk tankers & Trucks for Bitumen, Modified Bitumen & Bitumen Emulsion transportation
PROJECT: Actively work for modified bitumen plants expansion in all over India
To optimize costs by eliminating inefficiencies, reducing energy intensity, improving process reliability, and delivering quality and best services
To ensure a cordial and learning environment which promotes a culture of 24×7 Safety and innovation
To actively engage in community development near our plant site to make difference in people’s lives and build goodwill
Plan and manage the construction of the new bitumen production plants
Manage the establishment and supervision of plant production.
Bring the know how and best practices on production processes and HSEQ standards
Define all the production formulations
Manage the R&D on new product formulation, liaise with the BTM department for product development strategy and new technologies
Responsible for owned & 3rd party plants laboratories and manage the customer-oriented quality system
Provide technical assistance to customers and marketing team
Represent and lobby on behalf of the company at technical meetings with associations, standardization groups, customers, road, and local authorities
Work closely with Sales team for business development and growth of company
Formulation of Budget, periodic review, tracking, monitoring of budget and implementation of budget
Ensure basic information on HSEQ aspects concerning bituminous products including product safety and establish HSEQ aspect within the customers.
To implement the HSSEQ objectives set out for the department by achieving the KPIs , implementing transport PATROM complying with the audit findings and continually improving safety guideline assimilation
Assessing skill gaps and imparting necessary training to close the gaps, with specific emphasis on safety
Lead, build & nurture value selling/addition culture in team
100% implementation of JRM for selected primary transportation routes and refreshing with 3 year frequency and assessing driving speeds based on JRM speed zones
Implementation of robust technical support tools for monitoring driver behavior and incentivizing drivers
Improve transport safety management by identifying suitable technical solutions , improved transport MIS and utilization of transport KPI dashboard including implementation of ICT program, attaining Level 2 in SMT Audit
Develop and maintain high standards of safety, quality and efficient production in the plants.
Manage the transport activities of Bitumen Division in a safe & efficient manner fully consistent with the latest PATROM guidelines
Optimize the technical means (human beings, equipment’s, documentations, external means).
Integrate the Bitumen business line general strategy on product development.
Requirements:
Engineering Degree with 10+ years in Chemical / Petrochemical / Paint Manufacturing industry with at least 2 years in similar capacity
Proven experience with leading large teams
Good Knowledge on Hazardous Waste Management, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
Good Knowledge of Plant Equipment and Machinery, ERP Systems and Computers.
Excellent man-management, supervision and presentation skills.
Versatility in communication / languages, job skills and hands-on approach to the manufacturing processes
