We are looking for a Hotel Engineering Manager for a leading Hotel Chain .

Job Profile:
Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of the engineering department.
Supervise, train, and evaluate engineering staff to ensure a high level of competence and professionalism.
Oversee the preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Coordinate and execute routine inspections of the hotel’s physical infrastructure to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
Manage and coordinate capital improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure successful project execution within budget and timelines.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes and safety standards.
Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to create a secure environment for guests and staff.
Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the quality and safety of hotel facilities.
Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce the hotel’s environmental footprint and operational costs.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems to enhance energy efficiency.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for engineering-related incidents.
Act as a point of contact during emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure a swift and effective response.
Foster open communication channels with other departments to address cross-functional concerns and improve overall hotel operations.
Provide regular updates to the General Manager on the status of ongoing projects and the overall condition of the hotel’s infrastructure.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in a senior engineering or facilities management role in the hotel industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Budgeting and cost control experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
