Head of Engineering – Global eCommerce Start-up

We are looking for a Head of Engineering a pre-seed funded global eCommerce start-up.

Job Profile:
Define strategy and roadmap for product development to translate business needs to technology solutions
Lead the Tech team while supervising the development and maintenance of large software solutions and IT infrastructure
Own the development sprint cycles to ensure time-bound delivery and manage the lifecycle
Structure and define performance metrics, feedback loops, bug resolution cycles and growth hacks
Stay updated with the latest tech stacks, all best practices, industry standards, competitor analysis and existing open-source tools to be incorporated in product enhancement
Build an ‘A team’ of Engineers with a high-performance culture
Keep envisioning, creating and ideating the product journey by using cutting-edge tech to build a robust and scalable platform in alignment with customer needs and business goals

Requirement:
Tech Stack: Python/Django + React.js + PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience having worked in the tech-teams of B2C/B2B SAAS start-ups
for the last 5-10 years; now looking for a high ownership role with high growth
Graduation from a Tier 1 Engineering college (CE/IT/EC/EE) with MBA (preferred not mandatory)
Should have led Engineering teams to build products adopted at scale with direct experience in Software development, Architecture & Design, DevOps and complete lifecycle of product development
Proven proficiency in developing product strategy in line with business requirements and revenue model while keeping in consideration the trade-offs between features, costs, time to enter the market
Highly user-centric approach with an obsession to drive usability while adopting an agile and MVP based deployment strategy
Extremely detail-oriented, analytical and creative problem solver with the ability to guide the tech unit
