We are looking for a Business Development Manager for a Global B2B Event, Exhibitions and Conference Platform.
Job Profile:
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to meet client objectives.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and lead generation activities.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Act as the main point of contact for key clients and address their inquiries and concerns promptly.
Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase company products and services.
Sales Negotiation and Closure:
Lead negotiations and close sales agreements with prospective clients.
Prepare and present sales contracts, proposals, and quotations.
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in B2B sales or related industry. Events, Exhibitions & Conferences experience preferred.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
