We are looking for an Account Manager for the Consumer Tech / EdTech vertcial for an award-winning PR Agency offering services to some major brands like Amazon, Samsung, MEA (India), Sony, etc. to name a few.
An Account Manager is a key role in the supervisory layer of the organization structure. Driving the day to day account management on deliverables and interacting with the client. Oversees a small team and ensures quality delivery to the client on all hygiene aspects. Is the manager of Account executive and Senior Account executives. Reports to levels of Account Director and above.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction – Is the primary Point of Contact for the client on daily account matters. Provides counsel to the client and keeps them abreast of industry happenings
Creates plans that demonstrate sound understanding of client business, that are clearly executable and measurable. Oversees achievement of goals and tactics as laid out in the Public Relations Plan
Is proactive and ensures timely response to emails, queries, other requirements by self and team
Operations and Quality Control – Responsible for setting up systems and processes for the client.
Ensures accuracy and adherence to weekly calls, weekly status reports, quarter reviews and measurement parameters outlined – Ensures quality of documents sent by teams to both external and internal stakeholders are of high quality with zero errors. Client iterations limited to content inputs and not language or grammar, timelines or quality
Is involved in invoicing and payment follow up for his/her clients. Ensures finance has required inputs for error free invoicing
Media
Demonstrates effective knowledge of Key Media, Influencers, External Stakeholders, Industry Bodies, etc. related to the client. Ability to leverage this awareness to create high impact stories / interventions
Self and Team Management
Enables reportees to fulfil their roles by offering necessary guidance, support, and training. Oversees daily tasks lists and closure. Ensures the team is guided on using Foundation Concepts and other organizational tools and platforms
Self – motivated and able to manage their own time effectively. Ensures work is completed within timelines and client goals are met
Skills and Experience
5 plus years of experience in Public Relations, communication and client servicing.
Experience with the Consumer Tech / EdTech vertical
Good Client/account management abilities
Understanding of our solutions and programs and expertise in at least 4 programs
Understanding of online reputation management
Ability to work under high-pressure situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
Experience in managing reportees and teams
Media Relations experience across sectors of experience
