Senior DevOps Engineer for a Payment Solutions Startup

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a Payment Solutions Startup established by experts from the Payments Industry, who possess a rich work experience in distinguished firms such as Expedia, Google Pay, Uber, PhonePe, and American Express. The start-up is backed by top-tier venture capitalists, marquee angel investors, and industry mentors.

Job Profile:
Be involved in various stages of each product’s lifespan and remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency.
Keep track of merchant reviews to enhance marketability of the solution.
Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities
Suggesting alterations to workflow in order to improve cost and operational efficiency and success
Mentoring and guiding other Junior Developers
Participating in design discussions with development team and propose appropriate AWS infra/managed services to improve the availability and performance
Automating code deployments using various techniques and keeping those up-to-date as per technological advancements
Ensuring software is meeting all PCI requirements
Providing assistance to developers regarding AWS resources

Requirements:
Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field.
5-7 years of total experience as DevOps Engineer.
Experience in creating and managing pipelines using Jenkins
Experience in managing AWS account resources such as VPC, Security Groups,IAM, S3, EKS, MSK and ELBs.
Experience in automating deployment in AWS using various techniques like rolling, Canary and Blue-Green Deployments.
Experience in configuration management tools like Ansible
Experience in automating AWS Infra provisioning using Terraform
Experience of working in PCI compliance infra is a big plus.
Knowledge of one scripting language is desirable.
Strong analytical skills and good communication skills.
